J. Walton is a writer and spoken word artist who was also a former leader at Columbia University’s InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. I met him a few times during my time at NYU’s IV-AACF and heard about his work. Check out this uplifting piece:
I was watching the movie “Bella” recently and the first line says,
“If you want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans.”
Haha, I look back in hindsight and realize this is what I have doing most of my life. One thing I realized from my missions trip to Taiwan this summer is that there is an indescribable feeling of serenity and joy when you are walking in the will of God and following His footsteps to love and serve others. Living then takes up a whole different meaning. I wanna make God laugh and smile for such reasons.
